Healing The Earth-Healing OurS/selves Gathering
Healing The Earth--Healing Ourselves Gathering
Join Steve Schechter along with Rabbi Sandra for a 30-minute experience song, prayer, and meditation to bring us into the spirit of Rosh Hashana. Steve asks that each person bring two to four ounces of water in order to sprinkle on the land and bless the land. Your blessing can also extend back to the land you inhabit and elsewhere. For example, this can be some rainwater you collected, or good filtered water from home or from a store, or ocean or creek water which is wonderful and electrolyte rich, or water from Twin Falls, or from traveling, or....
Steve will bring his very large Shofar, and each person will have the option of energetically putting their kavana-prayer into the shofar. Being full of hot air, Steve will attempt to blow the prayers up to the heavens.
